House Update

For those of you that have known me for a while, you know that I love to paint and change colors of rooms. This was the first time I had to pick exterior colors for any house I have lived in. It was tough. I ended up giving the job to our contractor (a big thanks to Dan!) and am very pleased with the results. We ended up with three colors: saddle brown on the wood siding, a lighter brown on the stucco, and "old brick" on the roof perimeter. All the homes in our area are very similar (boring) in color. While we selected pretty conservative colors few if any homes are three colors and almost all have white roof trims - what rebels we are! I was nervous after the first coat of each color went up, but both Steve and I are really happy with it.

Progress continues with our addition. Sheetrock will start to go up next week.
