Dear Will,
Today you turn 2! And the main thing I would like to say to you is how proud I already am of you. At your current age your abilities change at warp speed. I can hardly keep up. You world has also changed dramatically with the addition of your sister, "Happy" as you have nicknamed her, almost 3 months ago. I am most proud of how gentle you treat her and how you constantly kiss her on the forehead. This caring behavior is not just limited to her but to other babies that you come in contact with.
While I think all parents think the children are smart, I think you really are smart for your age. For example, the other day you called one of the bath toys which happens to be a "0" an "oval". Initially I thought you said "owl" but after asking you to say it again it was clearly "oval". I was impressed. Words that start with "O" seem to be your favorite and include "octopus" and "octagon".
You are also working on good manners and using the words "please" and "thank you". If your father and I can continue to teach you the importance of kindness and respect I know you will be successful in so many ways.
Archie, one of the contractor's working on our house has nick named you "Dynamite" - it is very fitting. The contractor's got a good laugh the other day when you locked me out of the bedroom. Thankfully Dan came to the rescue! Our adventures together continue...
I love you!
Mommy
