Our lives right now are interesting when it comes to going places. As naps and potty training have to be taken into consideration. Will and Siena nap at opposite times so there are minimal windows to do things during the day without someone being miserable. As much as we would like to have them "party on" when skipping naps...it just doesn't work that way. Steve and I pay a huge price when we force them to party on. Such a price it is often not worth it. We don't go out a lot these days. Today we rallied and went to the kite festival. We had no idea that kite festivals are similar to air shows - it was pretty amazing.

Then there is also the potty training that we are in the midst of...besides the debate of who's nap to sacrifice, there is the debate of do we put a pull-up on Will or let him go for it...we let him go for it and he did great...even after having to wait in line 5+ minutes to use a porta potty. As you can see from the photo above I thought he might not be "holding" it any longer while I was waiting in line for our turn - but he did! Yeah!
